Camp Trillium, Odd Fellows and Rebekah Island Open House and Dedication!

 An Open House will be held on the Island Saturday September 13, 2008
at which time the Island will be named “CAMP TRILLIUM - ODD FELLOWS - & - REBEKAH - ISLAND”.

WILL YOU BE AT THE OPEN HOUSE????
Please consider getting the Lodges in your district together for a bus load - - a good job for the D.D.G.M. & D.D.P.

A possible schedule for the Open House would be: Arrive between 12:00 noon & 1:00 pm
Enjoy the boat ride to OuR Island Walk around and get your land legs back (tours) 12:30 to 1:30pm

Dedicate the new sign “CAMP TRILLIUM - ODD FELLOWS - & - REBEKAH - ISLAND”.

 What a great feeling as an Odd Fellow or Rebekah to be there for this great event in our future. A time for receiving donations for our Grand Master and Presidents’ Project.

Refreshments 2:00 to 3:00 pm At 3:00 pm we should start boarding the boat for the return trip to our buses and cars.

We must know how many are planning to attend as soon as possible and before Sept. 4th. Please have your D.D.G.M. or D.D.P. notify the Grand Lodge office
with numbers of persons coming. CAN WE HAVE AT LEAST 300 MEMBERS AT THIS HISTORIC OPEN HOUSE?

OuR Island is located on West Lake near Sandbanks Provincial Park in Picton, 30 minutes south of Belleville and one hour west of Kingston.
Island is across from Wellington, Ont. From New York State take the bridge across at Gananoque to 401 West and join the Brothers and Sisters travelling from Quebec, Ottawa, and Eastern Ontario, etc, and travel to exit 566. Take highway 49 south to Picton and veer onto highway 33 and follow through Bloomfield towards Wellington. The Dock is beside Cer-A-Met Factory in Wellington. From Michigan and Western Ontario take 401 East well past Toronto to Wooler Road (exit 522) South on Wooler Road to highway 33. Turn right on highway 33 and continue through Wellington, Cer-A-Met is a small white factory on the lakeside of the highway just as you leave town.

You are most cordially invited to attend the Installation of Officers and the Annual Meeting of Victoria Historical Lodge #6, on Saturday September 27, 2008. The Installation of Officers will begin at 12:30 pm and the annual meeting of the Historical Lodge will immediately follow. Immediately following the Historical Meeting, we will enjoy a social hour and a Banquet (with no long speeches).

Dinner begins at 5:00 pm.

The Installation will be open and everyone is most cordially invited to attend.
